One of the biggest mistakes most online marketers do these days, is thinking that e-mail marketing is dead. Well, let me tell you something, email marketing is still one of the most successful digital marketing tactics you can do for your business.

As an email marketer, you will often need to analyze the data from the emails you send and also manage a database of users. To help you do all of these and more, I’ve made a list with some free and paid email marketing tools that will help you boost your email performance.

Free & paid email marketing tools

1. MailChimp
MailChimp is one of the most known and trusted tools in email marketing and the best part is that it has a free plan which you can use as long as you have less than 2,000 people in your email list. MailChimp also allows you to send drip emails to follow up based on website activity, abandoned carts, activity or inactivity, and much more.

2. Mailjet
Mailjet will allow you to send up to 16,000 emails per month, but you are limited at 200 emails per day. In Mailjet you can view email stats and also edit the email template with the email editor.

3. Emma
Emma is a powerful tool that integrates with Shopify, Salesforce and OptinMonster to gather CRM and sales data and personalize emails based on the subscriber actions.

If you are looking for a tool to optimize your sales emails, a countdown timer might be an effective tool to motivate users to buy before the sale is over.
Below are some great tools for that:

4. Motionmail Countdown Timer (up to 20,000 views per month)

5. Sendtric Countdown Timer (unlimited and customizable, with email address signup)

6. Countdown Mail Countdown Timer (up to 100,000 sends per month

7. GetNotify
GetNotify is a free tool that notifies you the instant your email gets read by the recipient. You just send your emails as you normally would, but add “.getnotify.com” to the recipient’s email address. Your recipient will not see this, and they will not know that you are tracking their opens.

These days, people are attracted by images and videos. So, if you are not already using at least one image in your emails, you might be losing some action. Images and videos are eye-catching and will draw your subscriber to read further your email.

8. Unsplash
Unsplash is one of the most known online libraries of royalty free images. On Unsplash you can find high-quality images and completely free to use. Simply type a keyword and browse the selection. :)

9. Canva
Canva is great if you want to make images for your newsletters, Instagram graphics, and even infographics.
For email campaigns, you can use it to add your logo to images, to apply photo filters to the image or to create some awesome email headers that grab attention. The best part about Canva is that you don’t need any design skills to use it. ;)

That’s it!
We hope this article has helped you to find the best email marketing automation tools for your business.
